Giuliana Rancic has released what appears to be a sincere apology after she felt the heat for comments she made on “Fashion Police” about Zendaya’s hair.
The TV personality joked that the Disney star looked like she “smelled like patchouli oil” or “weed” when she walked the red carpet at the Oscars.

Rancic seemed very upset and teary as she explained that she was very sorry for what she said.
“I want to apologize for a comment I made on last night’s "Fashion Police" about Zendaya’s hair,” the host explained. “As you know, "Fashion Police" is a show that pokes fun at celebrities in good spirit, but I do understand that something I said last night did cross the line.”

“I just want everyone to know, I didn’t intend to hurt anybody. But I’ve learned it’s not my intent that matters, it’s the result, and the result is that people are offended, including Zendaya, and that is not okay. Therefore, I want to say to Zendaya, and anyone else out there that I have hurt, that I am so, so sincerely sorry. This really has been a learning experience for me,” Rancic, 40, said.
The host’s apology comes hours after her “Fashion Police” co-star,Kelly Osbourne, said that she was seriously considering leaving the show if the issues regarding the comments were not addressed.
