Pitch Perfect
More
than 500 players will compete in Canada with their national teams for
the Women's World Cup. So which stars stand out above the rest? The
experts at espnW and ESPN FC ranked their top players to help determine

making up half of the list, while seven countries are represented. Did

and let us know what you think by tagging @espnW and using #WWC10.
(Andrea Canales, Jeff Carlisle, Julie Foudy, Ben Gladwell, Graham Hays, Kristine Lilly, Kate Markgraf, Doug McIntyre and Graham Parker participated in the voting panel.)

Before she headed to Canada for the start of the tournament, Leroux chatted with espnW about when she developed her all-out playing style, why she wears the No. 2 and what she'd tell a teenage version of herself.

Sydney Leroux: Boss is currently with my husband in Kansas City, so he's doing pretty well.
